History

At Griffin Leggett Funeral Homes & Memorial Parks, our story spans more than a century. It is a proud tradition, an honorable heritage and a history that we share with the communities we serve. Our experience guides our care, and our history reminds us that we are first and foremost a family serving families — we are people to depend on. In fact, Griffin Leggett Funeral Homes were named “Best of the Best” funeral homes in 1998 by readers of the Arkansas Democrat Gazette.

Community Involvement

At Griffin Leggett, we take pride in being part of the communities we serve. In addition to providing professional and caring funeral service to Arkansas families, we are proud to offer the use of our facilities to local organizations for meetings or get-togethers. We also provide grief seminars and support groups, memorial services, hospice programs and a Memorial Tree program to remember loved ones during the holidays.

Our Griffin Leggett-Forest Hills location

Forest Hills Memorial Park was established in 1952 and consists of more than 165 beautiful acres. Forest Hills was added to the Griffin Leggett family in 1984 to provide service to the families of southwest Pulaski and Saline Counties. Many burial choices are available, including lawn crypts, mausoleums and cremation options.

In February of 2000, Forest Hills Funeral Home opened across the street from the cemetery to offer families the convenience of planning all services from one location. This beautiful facility offers a reception area, chapel, lounge with portico and a caring staff available to help you plan a meaningful, personalized service.

At Griffin Leggett, we believe that every life is unique, and every funeral should be too. We celebrate life. Griffin Leggett also offers The Simplicity Plan® prearrangement program, an easy way to handle an important family responsibility.
